A Barn Wedding Venue 20 Minutes from Bloomington

Met in Bloomington?
Keep the Town, Add the Farm
Want part of the weekend in town? Keep the rehearsal dinner or a Sunday brunch in Bloomington and bring everyone out to the farm for the wedding itself. It's about 20 minutes each way.
Rachel, our venue director, is an IU graduate herself (Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management). Ask her how to split the weekend between town and the farm.

Mind the IU Calendar
Bloomington hotels fill up fast on IU home football weekends and at commencement. If your date lands on one, block rooms early, or plan on Lakeside Manor for the people who need to be closest.
About the barn
Not the Usual Barn
Warm in January, cool in July, with room for everyone you invited. See how it compares to a typical barn wedding.
Common questions
Couples ask
How close are you to Bloomington and Indiana University?
We’re just 20 minutes from Bloomington and the IU campus, making it easy for local couples and guests staying in Bloomington to get here while still enjoying a true countryside setting.
Can our wedding party stay overnight?
Absolutely. Many couples reserve Lakeside Manor for the night before the wedding, the wedding night, or both. With room for up to 20 guests, it’s an easy way to keep your closest people together and make a little more of a weekend out of it.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate for a pond or lawn ceremony, we’ll simply bring the ceremony inside the climate-controlled barn. You’ll have a beautiful backup plan right here on the property, so there’s no need to change venues or rethink the whole day.
