The story of Abram Farms
Abram Farms opened in 2016 on 84 acres of woods, open pasture, and a 6-acre pond in Spencer, Indiana. It was created from the beginning as a place for weddings, and nearly a decade later, that's still the very heart of what we do. We host one wedding at a time, giving you the barn, pond, grounds, and Lakeside Manor all in one place.

Our purpose
More Than a Venue for a Day
A wedding brings together the people who matter most, and we believe you should have the time and space to truly enjoy it. At Abram Farms, that means a beautiful setting, thoughtful amenities, and hands-on support from our staff throughout planning, so when the day arrives, you can simply be present for it.
How we got here
A Decade of Weddings, Memories, and What's Next
Couples say “I do” by the pond, celebrate in the barn, and make this little corner of Indiana part of their story. Again and again, they tell us it’s the people here who make it feel special.
Rachel Kring and the Borrowed & Blue team carry that tradition forward, welcoming each couple personally. With Lakeside Manor now on the property, there’s even more room to settle in, stay awhile, and enjoy the people you came to celebrate with.
We’re giving the barn a fresh new look with a white exterior and expansive panoramic windows, creating a more refined setting without losing the warmth and countryside charm that have always made Abram Farms special.

Venue director
Rachel Kring
I'm the venue director at Abram Farms. I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a bachelor's in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management, and I've worked in event operations, coordination, and guest services. I run tours, planning sessions, and wedding-day operations here.
Outside of work, Rachel stays active with pickleball and running, and spends her free time with family, friends, and her dog, Oakley.
